Saturday and Sunday together count as one day. This allows me to help you get jobs done quickly while still allowing flexibility on weekends. Major holidays are not included in turnaround times. Please e-mail or call for availability.
Growth pages are applicable only if the total number of pages in the completed transcript have increased by more than 10% beyond the number of pages originally submitted. The higher per-page rate for growth pages (additional $0.25/pg.) is applied only to the actual growth pages themselves and not to the entire transcript.
Turnaround time begins when I confirm receipt of the job files. I do not use a cutoff time, rather I count each 24-hour period out from the time I confirm receipt of the file(s) to the time you need the completed file(s) back and use that to determine the rate for that job.
I always strive to return work to you as quickly as possible without sacrificing quality. If I complete a job ahead of schedule, I will return it to you ahead of schedule. I do not sit on completed work.
Scoping v. Proofreading
Please note that I am primarily scoping for mistranslates, untranslates, and application of proper punctuation, grammar, and formatting. Final proofreading should always be done by the court reporter or a separate proofreader. Properly categorized global dictionary suggestions for the reporter to review can be provided when the finalized job is returned.
